CARIMA

CARIMA

CARIMA was founded in 1982 to produce lubricants water base for electrical and telecommunication application. Since then, we are on the market with GLISS®, the first line of water-based lubricants and cable laying products which reduce dramatically the friction making cable insertion smooth in any situation. First application have been in civil installation; we have developed the right chemical formula to face the difficulties to insert cables into ducts which are often not linear, with many pitches and in presence of many joints between cables. Whether they are in plastic or rubber, the flexibility of cables varies according to the seasonal temperature: hardened by cold they are difficult to bend, softened by heat, especially those in plastic, they become so flexible that the resistant friction during laying increases. Further studies have been conducted to enlarge the product line to industrial application, in order to cover needs of laying power cable and optical fiber cables. GLISS®'s innovative formula avoids the annoying glue effect typical of many other competitor lubricants. CARIMA offers a wide range of slips and lubricants for fiber optic and electrical cables (civil and industrial sectors, power cables and optical fiber cables) in a different kind of format: liquid, semi-liquid, gel, spray foam, greases and spray for both civil and industrial application. Our production is flexible to individual request of our customers of which we are able to be the best partner at the right time. Furthermore we have an international presence on the market, in order to be closer to the national project of cables installation. You are welcome to visit our website www.carima.biz, the right place to find any other information about us and our products.
